This second eerie collection of supernatural tales of Northwest Alabama, follows in the tradition of the first Skeletons In The Closet, and includes, among others, the tale of spirits in the Sweetwater Mansion, the tragic story of a child ghost in a historic Wood Avenue home, the hauntings of the Ritz Theater and Norton Auditorium, strange occurrences at the Woodlawn Plantation, the mysterious blood on the stairs in the Nance Home, and the ghost of a mail carrier who still haunts the Sheffield Post Office, and the spine tingling tale of a creature who stalks the sloughs and woods of Lawrence County, Alabama.


About the Author: Debra Johnston Glass holds an MAed with emphasis in history from the University of North Alabama. A Florence, Alabama native, she has authored several books about southern ghosts: Skeletons In The Closet - True Ghost Stories of the Shoals Area, Skeletons On Campus - True Ghost Stories of Alabama Colleges and Universities, and Skeletons of the Civil War - True Ghost Stories of the Army of Tennessee. She has also penned several articles for Fate Magazine as well as historical articles for various Civil War Magazines. During regional festivals, she conducts the Haunted History of the Shoals and the Civil War History of Florence Walking Tours.
